Today I had the privilege of witnessing two very special moments. At Morning tea Madison came into the KC upset because she was missing her Mum. I asked Alex to read her a story and she left when the bell rang feeling better. At Lunchtime Madison returned to the KC to do some drawing, she came up to me shortly after and told me Hollie was crying because she missed her Mum. Her next words were music to my ears. "Don't worry Mrs Tapper I will read her a story and make her feel better". Not that I needed it but it's nice to be reminded that the KC is so much more than books and resources. Its a safe place to come where there is always someone to help and listen, and what wonderful, caring students we have the pleasure of working with.
